Accessibility Statement

We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use Aliyah Atlas (aliyahatlas.com). This statement describes what we have done, what we know is not yet good enough, and how to tell us about a problem.

1. Our target

We work to meet the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), at conformance level AA. Where we can, we also follow WCAG 2.2 at level AA. The site does not claim full conformance at this stage.

2. What we have done

3. Testing

Last test: 1 November 2026, with the automated tool axe-core (version 4.10.2) and keyboard checks run in a browser.

Results: axe-core found no accessibility violations in 43 page checks: the main views of the atlas, sample pages of cities, neighbourhoods and the list of places, and all 15 legal pages, in English, French and Hebrew, at desktop and phone widths. The keyboard checks covered the skip link, search, the language switch, the visible focus, the contact form and the legal pages. Automated checks cannot find every problem; please tell us about anything that is hard to use.

4. Known limitations

5. Report a problem or ask for an alternative

If you run into an accessibility barrier, or need information from the site in another format, please use the contact page and choose "Accessibility". Please describe the page and the problem and, if you want a reply, leave your email address. We will do our best to fix the problem, or to give you the information in another way, as soon as we can. We aim to fix reported problems within 60 days.

6. About this statement
